Russell's Charity: The Teen Project's Freehab
The Teen Project's Freehab (free-rehab) Life Transformation Center serves LA's most vulnerable homeless youth, addicted and alone, refugees from foster care and abuse. There are approximately 4,000 youth living on our streets right now. Freehab gives these kids an equal chance at life at a unique innovative center that combines drug treatment and technology to springboard youth lacking a family into a life of success. Visit freehab.net for more info.
Obey The Artist
Travel deep inside Shepard Fairey’s creative process, exploring how politics and music inform his iconographic work. Tracing his punk rock roots from his early days of rigging copy machines and tagging to helming a thriving, independent business by harnessing the power of technology, the film follows Fairey as he transforms a photograph by National Geographic’s Aaron Huey from a digital print to the streets of L.A. in the form of a remarkable 12-foot mural in order to give voice to the forgotten history of Native Americans.
Shepard's Charity: Honor The Treaties
Honor the Treaties is an organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of Indigenous communities through art and advocacy. We do that by funding collaborations between Native artists and Native advocacy groups so that their messages can reach a wider audience. Visit honorthetreaties.org for more info.
Ondi Timoner
Ondi Timoner has the rare distinction of winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival twice. Her 2004 doc, DIG!, about the collision of art & commerce through the star-crossed rivalry between the Dandy Warhols and the Brian Jonestown Massacre -- and her 2009 top prize-winner, WE LIVE IN PUBLIC, about Internet visionary Josh Harris, who showed by example how willingly we will trade our privacy and in the virtual age-- were both acquired by the Museum of Modern Art in New York for their permanent collection.

Ondi is currently directing and producing the feature documentary BRAND: A SECOND COMING which through the life journey of Russell Brand from drug, sex and fame addict to social activist, explores the drive we have to make our lives meaningful, the role of the individual in the very pressing need for global shift in consciousness, and the fine line between genius and madness. Her other features include The Nature of the Beast (1994), Join Us (2007), and COOL IT (2010). Ondi is the founder and director of A TOTAL DISRUPTION, a network for innovators, artists and entrepreneurs documenting the thought leaders and doers who are driving the greatest revolution in the history of mankind with technology. Ondi delivered a TEDX talk at TEDXKC 2014 which addresses our reluctance to step out of line and traces the characteristics of her visionary subjects in order to empower all of us to turn our dreams into reality. Additionally, she also keynoted HotDocs, Westdocs, Masters in Motion, Akamai's Edge Conference, and Kaltura Conference about the opportunities that the rapid advancements in technology and the Internet present across all industries, with a focus on the arts.
